Rates per Provincial Notice 138/2026, effective 1 July 2026. All tolls include 15% VAT. Rebates apply to non-commercial use by registered users; registered minibus taxis are exempt from that condition.

How the account works
Four steps, then you stop thinking about it.
Register once
Vehicle details and a contact number. The registration form comes from the operator — this build has the flow, not their field list.
Keep a balance
A minimum of R80 on the account. Top up by card, instant EFT, debit order or SnapScan.
Drive through
The plaza reads the tag and deducts the rebated rate. No stopping, no cash, no queue behind the bakkie paying in coins.

Regular user rebates
The bands, in full.
Register with the concessionaire and keep a minimum R80 balance. Rebates apply by uses per calendar month and reset at month end.

The Day Pass
The first 2,7 km past the toll plaza is free from the Hout Bay side — picnic sites, viewpoints and the mountain trails, at no charge.

A word on the payment flow
The top-up above demonstrates the whole journey and takes no money. Live card processing carries PCI obligations, reconciliation and settlement, and is quoted separately — we would rather price it properly than fold it in and disappoint you later.
Card details would never touch this website. A redirect or hosted fields keeps the operator out of PCI scope entirely.
