The status shown here does not replace the signage and instructions of officials at the road itself. Where the two differ, the signage and the officials on site govern.
Tariffs
Toll tariffs are those gazetted by the Western Cape Government and are shown inclusive of VAT. Where the tariff published here differs from the gazetted tariff, the gazetted tariff applies.
Use of the road
Use of the road is subject to the National Road Traffic Act, posted speed limits and signage, and any restrictions in force at the time. Stopping is permitted only at designated places. Restrictions apply to cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles exceeding the posted dimensions.

The content of this website, including text, imagery, video and design, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written permission. Requests for commercial filming or photography on the road are dealt with separately.

This website is provided without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any right a consumer has under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the operator is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published here, save where such loss arises from the operator’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
